Graham Shapiro, CEO & Founder of GSD®, has been named as a finalist in the prestigious North West Institute of Directors (IOD) Awards.
The awards are designed to recognise excellence in a broad range of areas including commercial success, contribution to the wider community, innovation and leadership.

A ceremony will take place on Thursday 3 May at the Midland Hotel, Manchester where the overall winners of the 2018 IOD North West Awards will be revealed.

Graham Shapiro was a finalist for the 2017 NatWest Great British Entrepreneur Awards.
Graham Shapiro beat off some tough competition in order to make the regional shortlist, with over 1000 businesses entering the awards nationally across the wide range of categories.
Now in its fifth year, the NatWest Great British Entrepreneur Awards has celebrated some amazing entrepreneurs over the years, many of whom are now household names. Past winners include David Buttress of Just Eat, Julie Deane of The Cambridge Satchel Company, James Watt of BrewDog and Alexander Solomou of TheLADBible Group.

(International Trade Award, Start-up Company of the Year, Technology Entrepreneur of the Year and Digital Entrepreneur of the Year.)

The British Sports Book Awards is the major annual promotion for Sports Writing & Publishing, the awards exist to highlight the most outstanding sports books of the previous calendar year, to showcase their merits and to enhance their reputation and profile. The ceremony was at a star-studded black tie dinner at Lord’s Cricket Ground on 21st May 2014.
